For this project an empty house was used to stage the narrative. Stop motion photography documents the change in the inanimate objects. This conveys the story of a day across four rooms in a house. Audio guides the viewer further through the narrative.
Sound helps the viewer identify with the photographs and make connections between the simultaneous narratives unfolding in each room.
Every year students participating in the M.Sc. in Multimedia Systems Programme at Trinity College collaborate to create exciting and innovative projects for display to the general public. This year is no different, with students producing computer games, time-lapse photography, artificial life simulators and sensor-controlled environments. As many of this year's projects are sensor-based we are proud to present this year's show: "Sensored Media 2006".

Super Fly Guy is a game that lets you experience what it would be like to fly. You can navigate through an atmospheric location by standing in front of a large screen and making flying gestures with your arms.
Vevo examines the concept of evolution by presenting a virtual evolution system which mimics Darwinian evolution. Within this system, which will evolve over the course of the exhibition, virtual 'creatures' will emerge. These autonomous creatures will behave, breed and evolve within a physical model of an underwater environment. Vevo aims to question our notion of evolution and how it relates to living things.
Vircle acts as an interactive virtual games board beginning with a four player virtual air hockey game, that is played with a virtual puck and physical strikers that are tracked with sensors to interact with elements of the game.
